Will a sub-prime credit card lower my credit score?

Justin H asked:

I have a First premier bank credit card. A friend of mine told me that because first premier is considered sub prime credit, it can hurt my credit report, or keep me from getting a good credit card. Is this true?
ok, so will it affect any type of loan that I might apply for?

No. It is how you use it that will help or hurt your credit.
